What’s one thing you have gained which you wouldn’t have without this opportunity?

I have gained knowledge of how a professional corporation functions and how employees collaborate on projects, learnt to make formal presentations that could be used in a business setting, gained confidence and knowledge in engineering in the eco-friendly field and gained skills in how certain mechanisms work.

If I didn’t have this opportunity then I wouldn’t have experienced the bigger picture of how these industries function and gaining this kind of experience after university would have been difficult due to competition for places. Now I have experience in the field and I can focus my studies towards my goals with more purpose, it will also help me stand out from other students applying for university and jobs after I complete my degree.
