This academic year marks my 2nd at FPS and my 9th year in Primary Teaching. I have worked previously as a teacher and Head of Mathematics in a high performing private schools in Surrey, England for 7 years and here in Dubai within FirstPoint during my first year in the UAE. However, I am now energised to be the Year 6 Lead Teacher for the 2024-25 academic year, following students I taught previously in Year 5!

I truly believe that each child has the ability to meet their full potential and encourage all students to be engaged, ambitious and resilient learners. The students in my care are agents of change; each day I am inspired to develop them both academically and socially, with their wellbeing at the heart of the learning process. Therefore, ensuring they are ready for the world of tomorrow. 

I pride myself on being a role model for pupils, where learning is dynamic and not just a process. The mindset of ‘we get to learn’ rather that ‘we have to learn’ is something I truly believe can be witnessed within my role and within students in my care. I pride myself on ensuring my students are well-rounded, kind, respectful individuals, who are ready for the next steps in their learning journey.
