Jemma Peers

I am from Flintshire a small town in North Wales. I studied my Primary Education degree at Glyndwr university in Wales and qualified in 2008. After qualifying from my degree I worked in a number of schools across Flintshire. In 2010 I began working in a Nursery School, which ignited her passion for the Early Years. I joined the foundation stage at GEMS FirstPoint School in 2014 when the school first opened its doors. I have had the opportunity to see the school develop and grow into the outstanding school it has become today. 

I currently teach in FS1 and lead the highly motivated FS1 team. I am a very experienced teacher and has an expert knowledge of child development. I am always conscious of the children’s well-being and her kind and nurturing nature makes every child feel valued, respected and cared for. I have a real passion for ensuring that every child’s needs are met and is passionate about teaching children to love learning and inspiring them to thrive.
