After achieving his Bachelor of Education (with Honors) from the Univeristy of Gloucestershire in 2012, Mr Sherriff began his teaching career in an outstanding school in Solihull, England. During his time in the UK, Mr Sherriff specialised in the teaching and learning of phonics across FS and KS1, earning a letter of recommendation from the DfE.

Mr Sherriff joined our FPS family in 2015 and has helped the school to grow and develop since then. Mr Sherriff has a wealth of teaching and leadership experience across KS1 and KS2 as well as leading on the technical and creative aspects of our annual school shows and other parental engagements.

As our new Director of KS1, he believes that every child should come into school with a smile on their face and leave at the end of the day eager to return in the morning. Mr Sherriff strives to create an imaginative and creative learning environment where every child is encouraged to exceed expectations and feel empowered to be their best.
