Abdul Hafeez
Assistant Principal (Data & Systems)
I am a UK-qualified school business manager and senior leader (NPQSL) and hold a master’s degree in Information and Operational Management. I completed the London Aspiring Leaders programme in 2016 and was awarded Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) status in 2018 by the National College for Teaching & Leadership.
As a senior leader in Data and Systems, I have supported many UK schools with their whole school improvement through revising their data systems and processes. I have vast experience in developing and managing data systems in all-through (EYFS to Key stage 5), mainstream and special educational needs schools.
I specialize in producing data analysis reports in order to inform strategic decision making and support whole school improvement priorities. I also develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality within schools. Looking back on my experiences, I have come to believe ever more strongly that change will not simply happen, and that we all need to play a role in society to bring about positive, lasting change. I have demonstrated the way in which commitment, determination and hard work can lead to real achievements and improvements in peoples’ lives.
I have played major part in making schools truly data friendly environments. My approach to data analysis has enabled others to see how data analysis is linked directly to pupil progress and achievement, which underpins pupils’ development, and successfully motivates both staff and stakeholders alike.
